The most recent report on the Black Adam franchise indicates that if not for a variety of issues like the film’s budget, the $391 million box office turnover might have been adequate.
According to sources, the movie budget which was initially set at $190 million, soon increased to $260 million after a 20-day round of reshoots caused by a subpar test screening.
Variety reported that Black Adam will ultimately break even at $600 million, but a source at Warner Bros. disagreed with this number and said that it’s actually $425 million.
