Who is Avery Cyrus?
Siwa is well-known due to her viral internet popularity and television appearances, but Cyrus is also a hugely successful influencer with over 8 million followers and around 300 million TikTok likes.
In July 2019, the 22-year-old started posting videos to TikTok, where she has already established herself as a leading voice for the LGBTQ community.
She speaks openly about her sexuality, relationships, and emotions on her platform. She also emphasises other local creators for TikTok users to check out and follow.
Cyrus also has a sizable following on YouTube, where she has 57 million views and over 178,000 followers.

Cyrus and Siwa declared their romance official in a TikTok video posted on September 13 that featured the two sharing a kiss in a Chuck E. Cheese photo booth.
Siwa and Cyrus made their red carpet debut together on Wednesday night, posing for pictures at the opening night of Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill musical at the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, only one day after announcing their romance on TikTok.
JoJo planned a lavish beach date as a way to honour her and Avery’s one-month anniversary of dating which she documented on her Instagram and TikTok.
When did the couple break up?
After dating for three months, the well-known influencer JoJo Siwa and her ex-girlfriend Avery Cyrus announced their breakup.
The former Dance Moms star claimed that she had been used for internet fame by someone she thought she was in love with, these harsh words are presumably aimed at Cyrus.
The following day, Cyrus responded to JoJo’s allegations in a statement to on Tuesday, December 20. She claimed that she and JoJo parted ways amicably and were still close friends.
“The connection was incredibly genuine, and I have nothing butlove for JoJo and her family,” she said. Cyrus also said in a TikTok comment, “We decided that we are better off as friends! We are both so young and still just trying to figure our stuff out!”.
