Who is Salt Bae?
Known for his distinctive way of seasoning steaks, Nusret Gökçe or more popularly known as Salt Bae is a Turkish butcher, chef and restaurateur who became a viral sensation in January 2017.
He is the owner of Nusr-Et, a network of upscale steakhouses with locations in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Turkey, and Greece.
On videos posted on the restaurant’s Twitter account, He can be seen cutting steaks with style and dropping salt from his fingertips to his forearm, and then onto the dish.
