Fans of the popular Western drama Yellowstone who are on the right are upset because the most recent episode showed a kiss between two female characters.
The show follows the Dutton Family, who owns “The Yellowstone,” the biggest cattle ranch in the United States, and their ongoing fights with land developers, the nearby Broken Rock Indian Reservation, and the first national park in the United States.
In the seventh episode of season five, there is a scene at the Montana State Fair where two people of the same gender kiss. This happens after John Dutton, the family patriarch and the new governor of Montana is told by his environmental advisor, Summer Higgins (Piper Perabo), that they shouldn’t be schmoozing (a technical term for kissing) in public.
Then Dutton says, “My press advisor is making out behind me.” Then, we see new cast member Clara (Lilli Kay) kissing a woman with a large belt buckle like a cowgirl.
This is not the first character on the show who is LGBTQ+, but it is the first time a lesbian couple has been shown.
But not every viewer has been happy with the addition, and when we say “Everyone,” we mean conservative “Anti-Woke” viewers, which is not a big surprise.
Aubrey Huff, a conservative commentator who describes himself on Twitter as a “Proud Father, Anti-Vaxxer” who believes in “God, free speech, America, guns, whisky, and toxic masculinity,” said this.
Even Yellowstone has gone woke, and gay!

Other viewers have joined in, saying that the show’s “Leftward” turn was “Nice While It Lasted.” Some have called the kiss “Gratuitous” and brought up the old idea that LGBTQ+ representation is being forced on viewers over and over again.
“I don’t mind if two women want to kiss each other, but why do you have to be so rude about it? What a turnoff,” someone wrote on Twitter.

Yellowstone just went woke with it's first lesbian character and a kiss between tho girls. It was only a matter of time. It's Hollywood after all. Was nice while it lasted.

To try to stop watching the “Little Woke Soap Opera,” another person came up with the very creative hashtag #Yellownostone. It doesn’t have the same ring as #FreeBritney, but we’re sure it will catch on.
Yellowstone sucks now. I gave it a try through 3 episodes this season. Can't watch them turn a great show into a little woke soap opera. They should change name to #Yellownostones

Even stranger, the scene led to a conversation in which a woman said she would tell her husband abroad the exact time Yellowstone “Goes Gay” so that he wouldn’t have to see two women kiss.

One woman even said that the show has been “Woke” from the beginning, saying, “Season 1 Episode 1 because the show has been very clear about its ideologies from the beginning.” If you think it “woke up” all of a sudden, you just weren’t paying attention.
A crazy claim for a show in which one woman beat another woman up because the other woman was vegan.
Huff’s original claim did give us this Brokeback Mountain version of the tweet, which is funny because that gay cowboy movie came out 17 years ago.

It’s important to note that the kiss wasn’t a ten-minute-long sex scene, and it didn’t have anything to do with the plot. It was just the way things were.
From an outsider’s point of view, nothing is more homoerotic than cowboys, so we don’t know what these viewers were hoping to see.
