Spencer Dutton fights with a leopardess in a camp in Nairobi, Kenya, at the start of the second episode of the Western show “1923” on Paramount+. Spencer is able to beat the maneater, which gets a lot of attention from the British people living in the area.

Who is Alexandra?
Alexandra is engaged to a British man from the upper class who lives in Kenya with his large family. She likes to try new things and is drawn to adventures, but as the fiancee of a well-known person, she is expected to keep a certain level of decorum that isn’t in her nature. When Alexandra meets Spencer, it has a big effect on her life.
For the first time in a while, she sees someone who does what they want instead of what they think others want them to do. Alexandra is impressed by Spencer’s bravery and moves by the way he shows it. Both of them don’t worry about dying, which gives them the courage to face any challenges or threats.
Spencer and Alexandra both like to go on adventures, but they don’t do things the same way. Spencer has seen a lot of deaths as a soldier, but he thinks death is a good thing. On the other hand, Alexandra thinks that just being alive is noble. Even though they are different, they are able to get along because they both like to live life their way.
At the end of the second episode of the season, Alexandra leaves her controlling fiancé and runs away with Spencer to go on adventures and expeditions. She can’t stand it when a man thinks it’s his right to be in charge of her. When Spencer tells her that there are still a lot of things to see and do in the world, she decides to go with him.
Friends and family of Alexandra have made sacrifices in their lives to be with their partners. Even when her fiancé suffocates her, a close friend tells her to put up with it because her friend’s partner is worse. Alexandra, on the other hand, doesn’t want to be limited, so she runs away with Spencer to get away from her fiancé.
Even though her family and friends are against her, Alexandra has the courage to follow her heart. This reminds us of the Dutton women, like Cara Dutton and Evelyn Dutton. In the next episodes, Alexandra will likely start dating Spencer, which could lead her to the Dutton family in the near future.

Who Plays Alexandra?
In ‘1923,’ Julia Schlaepfer plays Alexandra. She is known for her role as Alice Charles in ‘The Politician.’ The actress made her first appearance on TV as Ashley Whittaker in the CBS show “Madam Secretary.” Julia also plays Maggie Fallon on the CBS police procedural show “Instinct,” Sandra Good in the biopic “Charlie Says,” which is based on the life of Leslie “Lulu” Van Houten, and Celeste in the second season of “American Horror Stories,” among other roles.
The actress got her big break when she played Payton Hobart’s partner, Alice Charles, in the Netflix comedy series “The Politician.”

Julia recently posted pictures of herself riding a horse.
