The Barry season 3 finale appeared to be the last for Barry Berkman. When everything is taken into account, how could the story of a hitman go on after he has been arrested? Still, Bill Hader should have something up his sleeve, since he will be directing every episode of the fourth season of Barry, which is coming back. So, when does the next season come out? Here’s what we know so far about season 4 of Barry.
Barry Season 4: Release Date Prediction
We don’t know when Barry season 4 will come out, but in July 2022, representatives from HBO said that the show will premiere in time for the 2023 Emmys. That means that it’s probably going to come out before May 2023.
Since Hader had already started writing for the fourth season before the third season was even shot, it seems likely that the fourth season of Barry will air in the spring of 2023.
Barry Season 4: Cast Speculation
Bill Hader will star as Barry Berkman / Barry Block in Barry Season 4. For people who don’t know about the character, he is a former Marine from Cleveland who became a hitman and then tried acting. Barry’s life will be different this time, though, because he’s going to jail.
In Barry Season 4, Hader will probably be joined by some of the following actors:
- Monroe Fuches is played by Stephen Root.
- Gene Cousineau is portrayed by Harry Winkler.
- Sarah Goldberg plays Sally Reed.
- Anthony Carrigan portrays NoHo Hank.
- Mae Dunn is played by Nicole Beharie.
- Natalie Greer is played by D’Arcy Carden.
- Michael Irby stars as Cristobal Sifuentes.
It’s fantastic that NoHo Hank saved Cristobal’s life in the previous episode. We also expect James Hiroyuki Liaobar to come back as FBI Agent Albert Nguyen, who was Barry’s friend in the military, and let him go. Also, we think that Robert Wisdom will return as Janice Moss’s father, Jim Moss.

Barry Season 4: Plot Speculation
Hader thinks there are a lot of stories here, even though Barry is getting punished for some of the bad things he’s done. Barry Season 4 could go in any direction because the star isn’t afraid to take the show in new or dark directions.
The actor won’t say much about what will happen in season four, but he did say that he was “surprised” when people said that season three could be the last one.
“We do not know everything about Sally, Cousineau, and Hank. As we’ve discovered more about them and what they’re going through, I’m curious to see how they deal with this “Hader informed Hollywood Reporter.
Hader has also made it clear that murder is spreading through the world of his show, which includes these other characters. Barry’s sometimes-girlfriend Sally (Sarah Goldberg) and NoHo Hank, a Chechen mafia member (Anthony Carrigan), have what Hader called “Barry’s disease” in an interview with The Wrap. People are being killed now, and most people who kill aren’t very happy.
In the same way, Hader also talked about the idea that the show had become too sad and had lost all traces of the comedy it was marketed as being.
He told The Wrap, “I just want to know if it’s as bad as the news makes it sound.” Actually, no. Could it be because of the news? Yeah. Does it show how people have been treating each other since the beginning of time?

Will Barry Season 4 Be The Final Season?
So far, nothing has been confirmed, but Henry Winkler seems to think it could happen. “Bill Hader and Alec Berg never try to go outside their comfort zones… When asked about the show ending, Winkler told Variety that “they don’t want to push it.” Still, don’t worry because Hader or Berg haven’t said anything about this yet.
