Fans of Yellowstone are sure that Rip and Beth are the endgames, but Cole Hauser and Cynthia Daniel’s kids don’t agree.
“I can tell you that our daughter doesn’t like it when Cole kisses Beth [Kelly Reilly] on this show,” Daniel, 46, told Us Weekly on the red carpet at the Golden Globes on Tuesday, January 10.
“It makes her feel really bad.”
The 47-year-old Paramount Network star also said that their 10-year-old daughter Steely was confused by what was happening on screen, “especially at first.” Since Yellowstone’s 2018 premiere, Hauser has played the role of Rip. In one scene, the cowboy “slammed Beth against the wall, had sex, and made out,” the photographer said. Daniel also said that the scene was “kind of tense.”
The couple got married in 2006, and they have three children together: sons Ryland and Colt, who were born in 2004 and 2008, and daughter Steely, who was born in 2012.
The star of “2 Fast 2 Furious” said that his kids have “grown up in the last five years” while watching him on TV, and they are no longer impressed by him, even though he has gotten good reviews for popular dramas.
Hauser joked, “They’re like, ‘Whatever, come home, dad.'” His wife added that their kids just “want to eat breakfast” instead.
Even though the couple’s kids don’t like their dad’s TV relationship, the Sweet Valley High grad cheers for her husband and Reilly’s characters. She gushed about Rip and Beth, saying, “I love how their characters work together.” “They are great. She’s a wonderful person.”
People watched Rip and Beth get married in the last episode of the fourth season. The actor from California also told Us that he would like the show to end with his character “Probably Sitting on A Porch, Hopefully with Beth.” He also said, “I think they love each other too much for them to ever break up.” They were made for each other.”
Hauser and Daniel aren’t the only ones on the show who support his and Reilly’s characters. On Tuesday, his co-star Moses Brings Plenty told the media that he didn’t think Rip and Beth would break up because “the fans” and “The World” would “Absolutely Not” let that happen.
Yellowstone is now in its fifth season, and Kevin Costner plays the lead role. He was nominated for a Golden Globe for this role. Floods in Southern California meant that Costner, who is 67, and his wife couldn’t make it to the ceremony at the last minute.
“Yesterday, we had to take the kids out of school, and this is the second time in five years that the motorways have flooded out in Santa Barbara,” the Dances With Wolves star wrote on Instagram. “We were on the wrong side of town last night and couldn’t get back. Since the motorways were closed this morning, we couldn’t even get back home in time.”
