Ginny and Georgia’s first and second seasons were separated by nearly two years, in a manner that was typically dramatic. Nonetheless, the wait was well worth it, since the second season was even better and more exciting than the first.
What does this signify for Ginny and Georgia’s Third Season? Netflix has been too quick to end shows lately, but with how Georgia’s wedding ended, we can’t see the show ending there. Ginny and Georgia should not be terminated at this time.
Things are looking up because the second season opened at No. 1 on Netflix in English-speaking countries from Jan. 2 to Jan. 8. Deadline says that it was watched for 180.47 million hours, which is only a few million less than how many hours Bridgerton and Dahmer were watched for. It also pushed Wednesday off the top spot, which only a huge force could do.
We know you can’t wait for a third season, so call your lawyer and get your alibi ready, because we’re going to tell you everything you need to know about Ginny and Georgia season 3 on Netflix.
Ginny and Georgia Season 3: Release Date Prediction
We won’t lie, it was hard to wait 23 months between the first and second seasons. If Netflix decides to bring Ginny and Georgia back for a third season, hopefully, the time between episodes will be shorter this time.
We’re pretty sure about the show’s future, though, and if there aren’t any more delays due to pandemics, we think new episodes could come out in early 2024. And to be honest, they can’t come soon enough.

Ginny and Georgia Season 3: Cast Speculation
The Ginny and Georgia cast is quite large, so if nothing changes behind the scenes, the following actors should return for season three:
- Brianne Howey as Georgia Miller
- Antonia Gentry as Ginny Miller
- Diesel La Torraca as Austin Miller
- Jennifer Robertson as Ellen Baker
- Felix Mallard as Marcus Baker
- Sara Waisglass as Maxine “Max” Baker
- Scott Porter as Mayor Paul Randolph
- Raymond Ablack as Joe
- Mason Temple as Hunter Chen
- Katie Douglas as Abby
- Chelsea Clark as Norah
- Jonathan Potts as Mr. Gitten
- Sabrina Grdevich as Cynthia Fuller
- Colton Gobbo as Jordan
- Connor Laidman as Zach
- Nathan Mitchell as Zion Miller
- Rebecca Ablack as Padma
- Tyssen Smith as Brodie
- Daniel Beirne as Nick
- Aaron Ashmore as Gil Timmins
Don’t forget about Nikki Roumel as young Georgia Miller and Kyle Bary as young Zion Miller in the flashback sequence.
From what I can tell, Mitchell would be very excited to start a third season. The actor from Zion said this about his second season:
“It was great. It was wonderful. I love spending as much time as I can with this cast.
“Just getting to learn more about Zion and see how he interacts with his parents, how he and Georgia work together as co-parents, and how he really is there for Ginny when it matters. All of that was a lot of fun to look into.”
When talking about his hopes for Season 3, he added: “I’d love to see where Simone’s life goes from here. I think it’s always fun to add Georgia to the mix, putting those three people in a new situation that they have to figure out how to deal with.”
So maybe we’ll see more of Vinessa Antoine, who plays Simone, which can only mean one thing. More drama. Georgia was almost able to keep her jealousy under control, but it probably won’t last forever.
Sara Waisglass, aka Max, the MANG queen bee, has her own expectations for season three. She said to E!Online, “She clearly likes to be loved, and she wants to be with as many people as possible who will love her. But I think she needs to love herself, and I really hope she can learn how to do that.”
From her TikTok, it’s clear that she finds it funny that Max’s fans don’t like him, so let’s hope she puts that humor into Max’s new adventures.

Ginny and Georgia Season 3: Plot Speculation
At the end of Ginny and Georgia’s second season, a lot went on. Like, a lot, so here’s a list of the most important questions that need to be answered in season three: Will Marcus and Ginny reunite, or will they pretend to be just friends for an entire season? Will Joe and Georgia eventually act on their feelings? Will Joe continue to mope like a big, old softie?
Do you think that Max and Silver will date? Like, for real? Because we stan.
Will Zion and Simone move in together? Or will Zion, along with the remainder of Wellsbury, continues to pine for Georgia? When is Hunter going to quit being so boring and get over Ginny? Will Abby make smarter decisions about boys? Self-respect is equally alluring as a six-pack. Will Nora’s life ever have a real plot? Or is the “N” in “MANG” pronounced “silent?
Will Marcus tell Georgia’s big secret? Teenagers who are drunk, sad, and full of hormones aren’t exactly the most reliable…
Will Paul stay with Georgia after she is put in jail? As she is being transported to jail, he declares that he will, albeit his decision may depend on how long his new wife remains in custody. Who told on Georgia? Did Nick do it? It looks like that’s the case. Will Austin end up traumatized like Ginny? He was wrong about Mommie Dearest. She is not exactly the amiable homemaker he believed her to be.
Will Georgia spend a long time in jail? Life has taken a heavy toll on her, and this could be the final straw…
Sarah Lampert, who made Ginny & Georgia and put out season two on Netflix, was contacted by Deadline a day after season two came out.
Lampert says that Netflix and he haven’t talked about Season 3. “We have to wait and see how it does and if there will be a Season 3, but I hope there is because it’s going to be a wild ride.”
But what would this show be like if it went on for a third season? Lampert says that there are “a lot of really great possibilities” for who will care for Ginny and Austin in the future.
“If Georgia is charged with this crime, then we have Zion, who is Ginny’s dad, and now we also have Gill. I think that before this, he had no chance of getting custody because he was a convicted felon, but now we have Paul, who is the stepfather, so who knows?”
Lampert adds, “Because these characters are so full, we have so many great story ideas to choose from.” “And based on how many surprises we want to throw into Season 3, I’m being vague, but we do have it planned out.”
Ginny and Marcus, what about them? Is this really the end of that relationship? Or, can we keep sending “Gincus” or “Marcy” or whatever name you prefer?
“Nothing is certain about season three,” Lampert told Deadline. “Who knows, maybe there are new people. We don’t yet have a third season… We have everything planned out, and we have very clear ideas about how we want it to look. But when you get into the writers’ room, everything changes. So many more minds come to the table, and you come up with a better idea.”
