This week was the 80th Golden Globes, and Yellowstone finally got the attention it deserves. Kevin Costner, who played John Dutton and won the first Golden Globe for the show, couldn’t go because of the flooding in California, but Yellowstone was still well-represented.
Cole Hauser, who stars with Kevin as the fan-favorite Rip Wheeler, was there, and his appearance on the red carpet made a big splash. He posed with his wife of 16 years, Cynthia Daniel, and we can say for sure that they are the best-dressed couple.
Cole and Cynthia’s all-black outfits were stunning. Cole wore a black tux and a black button-down shirt, but he didn’t wear a tie and left the top buttons undone to make himself look more casual. Cynthia looked like a classic bombshell in a long black Dolce & Gabbana dress with a dramatic slit up to her thighs and strappy Louboutin heels. You can find a similar look here and here.
Cynthia and Cole both posted pictures from the night on Instagram, where people said things like, “Good Heavens, you guys are on fire!🙌🔥🙌 love you guys,” “Your wife always looks great, but this outfit is beautiful. That dress is just right!❤️🔥❤️ ” and “You’re both a 10.” Let’s be honest.”
Award winners for Best Actress and Best Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology, or TV Movie were presented by Cole and his Yellowstone co-star Mo Brings Plenty. Amanda Seyfried (The Dropout) and Evan Peters (The Social Network) won (Dahmer). Mo stated that Yellowstone is about “the merciless pursuit of power, money, lying, avarice, and narcissism,” while Cole quipped, “It’s just Hollywood on horseback.”
This summer, new episodes of Yellowstone Season 5 will be shown on the Paramount Network. Seasons 1-4 are available to stream on Peacock.
