Wednesday 20th July 2016 will see an official ‘Motörhead Day’ at The Black Heart pub in Camden Town.
The Motörhead celebrations are are to commemorate the band’s first ever show in London, which took place at The Roundhouse on July 20th 1975. And also to raise many a glass to those Motörhead members we have loved and lost. Particularly front man Lemmy Kilmeister who died on 28th December 2015. Motörhead management have sent forth their blessings and support for the event with guitarist Fast Eddie and drummer Mikkey Dee sending kind words via video message and the Facebook page of Official Motörhead.
The day will begin nice and early at 3pm. The first hours will see the girls from Born Again- Heavy Metal Soundhouse play a range of tracks from across Motorhead’s discography including No Sleep ’til Hammersmith in its entirety. The party will continue into the early hours of the morning where there will be a range of hard rock and heavy metal played throughout the evening, including lots more Motorhead!
This will be a night to remember and the perfect way to celebrate being a Motörheadbanger!
